something in this thread.
I know exactly how you feel dbfan. Dont worry, I
am in the same boat as you are most of the time.
I have a rather expensive taste when it comes to
cels. I only collect from 3 series, FY, AnC, and
Tenshi ni Narumon, all of which tend to be pretty
popular, and high up there. I always get outbid
too on things I want, and I almost NEVER catch
the updates. It is very saddening. I know a lot
of people here have lots of money to spend, and
fast connections, and the physical reserves to
stay up at night to wait for the updates, but a
lot of us dont have these things. You are not
alone. We just have to work a little harder at
it, but it makes the few things we do get all the
more special! So, be cheerful, if you miss out
on something, there will be more.
Furhtermore, I know this hobby is very aggressive
and grueling, but, everyone please be sympathetic
to others. All of you guys out there who have
the means to have such wonderful collections,
feel very grateful that you have the ways to have
them. Just because some people cant afford the
high prices, or afford to get DSL installed to
watch for the right timing, doesnt mean they have
less of a right to be into collecting. We all can
be courteous to one another. And, those who miss
out because of other collectors, dont be crass to
them, they also have a right to the cels.
Everyone misses out on things, but, look at it
this way: If you miss out on one thing....a new
and better something could be waiting! I went for
months without landing a single cel, and now this
month Ive gotten about 9 of them! This happens
to me all the time :). Good luck to *everyone* in
the hunt! Sometimes well all get a little angry
at missing something we really want, it's
okay :).
PS Yes, Anime Taro is probably your best shot!
Try to login, and see the upload times! You can
sort of try and guess when their next update will
be! Then, you can grab away!
