Hmm, I thought that PayPal can also use money 
from your checking/savings account or is it the 
case that you need to have a credit card just to 
sign up? When you say problems with your card, if 
PayPal is having problems validating your card, 
your credit card company should be able to help 
you out there. Else, they can also send you a new 
card, not a replacement, but a card with a brand 
new account number.
