Dear EAB,

Yeah, I know how you feel =(!  I can rattle off a
bunch of eBay and Yahoo! Japan bidders who I know
I can NEVER win against 8(, and I even know some
of them ;(!  My mind goes AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH
when I see their IDs.

Usually, I try to follow this policy for auctions.
If I see something I would like to bid on, BUT if
the current bidder is a friend or someone whom I
think of as a friend, I WON'T place a bid, or I
would just let the auction be =}.  If it's
something I REALLY would like to bid on, I wait
until my friend gets outbid by someone else.  I
then contact the friend, let them know that I
am interested in the auction, and ask them if they
plan to bid on the auction again.  If they say
that they aren't going to bid again and if I get
their blessings, I then proceed to bid.  Yeah, I
know this sounds sappy =P, but I just can't bring
myself to bid against a friend =}.

On the other hand, there are also a bunch of
bidders whom I dread who I DO NOT know at all.
Those bidders I mostly consider nemesises >8(, and
I just boil >=P!  Usually, after trying to bid
against these guys, I give up since I don't have
that kind of $$$$!  I keep wondering who they are
though =/, especially since several of them don't
haunt the forum or have online galleries.  I guess
it's a mystery that I'll NEVER solve =/.
