I looked around before going with Celga, and even
with the small problem I had, they still seem to
be the most reasonably-priced and friendly
service around.
That being said, I DO know of a nice, reliable
deptuy service, but it is EXPENSIVE compared to
Celga. It is run by a man named Masato Shono.
He is geared towards antique toys, so his fees
are based on items costing upwards of thousands
of dollars. For smaller items, like cels, his
percentage is probably somewhere around 30%. But
I can tell you that he has done many deals for
friends of mine, and he would probably be willing
to bid on cels for you. Just don't expect him to
have anywhere NEAR the knowledge that Celga has
about anime---he is not a fan. He probably
couldn't answer questions beyond translating the
auction text. (If you want to know about TOYS,
though, he is very knowledgable!)
My main computer is down, so I don't have his
address handy. You should be able to get to his
website via the link above. (If not, just go to
sixsite.com and click the "Masato Shono" link.)
Nothing against Shono-san, but for my budget I
will stick with Celga!
