my gut feeling is that if you're having to 
debate, it isn't worth it.  $300 *is* a lot ot 
spend on a piece of acetate and some paint.  but 
i've done it ^_^;;  however, seeing the cel in 
question for the first time was one of those 'i 
must have this at any cost' kinda moments -- 
absolute love at first sight.  

and the thing about not finding a better cel 
later...  i'm not sure i buy into that.  unless 
it's your *dream* cel of that character (in which 
case you would already be decided ~_^) or the 
show is rare and this is the first nice cel 
you've seen of the character (again, decided), 
chances are you'll find another somewhere on down 
the road.  patience is difficult, i know, but 
sometimes pays off handsomely.  (drop in the next 
time i update my gallery to see what i mean...)  

one last thing -- you'll be *kicking* youself if 
next week a nicer cel comes along at a similar 
price, but you have no money left after buying 
the first one ~_^
