As long as you're buying because you like the cel
and know it will bring you countless hours of
pleasure and most importantly, if you can afford
it, then why not. What's the difference between
spending $2K on a big screen TV and a cel? It's
whatever that gives the most value to you
personally. Besides, cels are one-of-a-kind. Big
screen TVs will always be around and the longer
you wait, the cheaper they get and there's always
new models on the horizon.
Of course, if you invest that $2K in a Roth IRA,
at an average of 8% compounded for about 30 yrs,
that's quite a bit of change. You didn't want to
hear that, did you :)?
