I totally agree with you Peggichu.  Two totally 
different situations here.  If you want someone 
to look up who won and the winning bid on a 
particular auction for you, do it yourself (or 
ask Drac - great idea Drac!!).  It is information 
that's available to everyone with an account or a 
deputy service.  There is no need to clutter the 
forum for this reason.

On the other hand, if you want to entice someone 
with a great offer for a wishlist cel, many times 
there is no other way to do it other than list on 
a forum.  I believe that is one of the purposes 
for a forum.  Sure, there should be some self-
imposed limits.  Such as making sure your offer 
is worth consideration (otherwise it's just a 
waste of everyone's time) and not doing it for 
every single cel you ever wanted.  I, for one, 
have done it only 3 times since I started 
collecting over 2 years ago.  I probably would 
have never done it in the first place if I hadn't 
seen many veterans doing the same thing.  I have 
even seen Yann do it once in the past, I 
therefore saw no issue with it.

I know I for one do *not* appreciate being told 
to 'shut up' :P  At least Yann was polite in his 
post and said 'Please'.
