I thought this would be a non-issue, but I just
noticed a (anonymous) reply telling me that my
question the other day was off-topic for this
forum. Since that thread has scrolled off to the
second forum page, let me ask it here.
I saw a cel on YJ that was unknown to me. I asked
to have it ID'd, and Mia was kind enough to do so.
My anonymous commentator said that all YJ
questions should be posted to the other board.
Problem is, I don't think this WAS a YJ question.
What's the difference if I see a cel in an Ebay
auction, a YJ auction, a gallery, or on a magazine
cover? If I'm asking for an ID, I don't think
that has anything to do with the source. Perhaps
if I linked directly to the pic of the cel itself,
this person wouldn't have made any comment at
all?!
BUT.....I am new here. And this is a new rule (no
YJ questions on this forum). So I'll accept
whatever the majority (or Yann!) has to say.
Personally, my interpretation of the rule was: No
questions about HOW YJ works, HOW to register, the
outcome of auctions, HOW to get someone to bid for
you, etc. Is this incorrect?
