Yes, it feels kind of special to have/win a cel 
that you know a lot of people want, although I 
wouldn't call the feeling "a sense of 
acomplishment". In any case I don't go out to do 
that on purpose anyway. I don't care how much or 
little other people like my cels.

I really do hate waiting out through an auction 
on something - especially something popular. I'd 
MUCH rather lose a cel in a race (like at an 
update) than lose it simply because my pockets 
aren't deeper than someone else's. It's not an 
adrenaline rush I get when bidding on something, 
it's more a tired sigh and a comment of "here we 
go again".

There seem to be too many people out there with 
hugely deep pockets. . . Some of whom basically 
want the cel because everyone else wants it - not 
because they have some special feeling for it 
themselves.
