Last night, the postman came knocking on my door
with a cel package. The package came from
america, and therefore since the little green
customs sticker said it was over the price limit,
I had to pay Customs Tax on it.
The thing is, the price the seller quoted on that
little green sticker was WRONG! They had marked
it up a large amount. I have no idea why, maybe
they though this would help with insurance if it
was lost in transit. But due to this, I had to
pay a whopping 30$ of Customs tax on a cel I had
only actually paid 95$ on to begin with. >_< (the
tax is normally 6% on the dollar, you can imagine
how marked up this price was)
Please, as a note to US sellers who don't already
do this. If you're mailing outside of the USA,
please please please, make sure you put the
correct amount on that little customs sticker! It
really is important. ^^;
Whew, at least the cel was still way worth it
after the 30$ markup! ^^
Best,
