The first cels to hit the market about 4 years ago 
were from a batch that was stolen from the studio. 
Since that time there have been a very few 
ligitimate releases of Eva cels onto the market. 
Most have come from people who won them or were 
given them as prizes or gifts at cons. Others have 
come on the market from people who worked on the 
show and were given a small number of them. It is 
impossible to tell whether a cel form eva came 
from a legitimate source or not. Even with the 
ligitimate release of a few more eva cels, demand 
far exceed supply.
