when I realized how many people snipe cels at 
updates ^^;;

But yeah,I do agree that sometimes the 
competition just isn't fun. I mean, sure, it's 
great when you win and auction, but other times, 
like during an update, you wish everybody would 
hold back because you need to earn just a teensy 
bit of money for a cel, or such as the like. 
Competition has it's place, and sometimes it gets 
brutal.

But despite that, I've met so many nice people in 
this hobby. If I see someone I know bidding on 
something on eBay, I don't outbid them. If I know 
somehting is someone's dream cel, I link them to 
dealer sites with it. Yes, there is a competitive 
rush to this hobby (I happen to equate the rush 
of adrenaline when I win an auction I wanted to 
riding a roller coaster...same feeling), but the 
best part about isn't that, it's the friends I've 
made through it ^^

But I have to be honest with myself and admit 
that I am a competitive person ^.~ But I don't 
collect to make other people jealous or beat 
people (the hting in my first post was an example 
of what some people I've met are like), I collect 
for that feeling I get when I see my cel in 
motion on the screen. When I know that I OWN a 
piece of that, and that every fan who's watched 
that seen has inadvertantly seen something I own. 
I just love that.
