I received my latest package from Anime Chaos,
and it was bent in half by the USPS. Everyone
knows Chaos packages them very very securely. It
seems like it would have to be intentional for
one to bend it the way it was because the
cardboard is so stiff. Fortunately the cel
wasn't badly damaged, it had a few "Dents" where
the bend was.
For overseas shipping, you really can't blame it
directly on the USPS, since other parties are
involved. I'm pretty sure the USPS has a
contract with a bag/parcel handling company at
the air port, and the Japanese Post Office could
be involved as well. I had a cel shipped in a
plastic case from Japan and one side of the case
was shattered. I really wonder how much care
goes into our package deliveries :) |
