Thanks for everyone's help

Actually the cel only has plus/x? signs.  They 
are surrounding the bunny on the attached cel 
however the bunny is not on the sketch.  Could 
the signs mean something else? special effects? 
or its not the sketch for the cel?

will just have to wait for the video to find out 
what's the scene consist of.
Maybe it might have something to do with a 
missing layer of the cel?
