I had to ship a video to Germany a while back 
(some people can't read "no international 
bidders" -_-) and it wasn't really a big deal.  
Just had to fill out a form for customs saying 
what it was, and ofcourse pay a bit more for 
international shipping.  You can hit the USPS 
site to get an idea of how much it will cost... 
for the video was around $7.50, I think that was 
for a week or something.  It really wasn't a 
problem at all, so I'd say go ahead ^^  Just make 
sure the person can send easy to deal with 
payment... my buyer sent nice US cash ^^
