Okay, so based on Yann's post and Ginger's post,
does this mean that the cels that are going to be
at AX are NOT the same as the cels that were
originally exhibited in Tokyo? Is the usenet
post from AX really just an advertisement for
Anime Link in disguise? Here's a link the the
ad:

%40netscape.com
sorry the URL is so long - I wasn't sure which
parts I could safely chop out. Anyway, based on
what the post said, I feel a little misled. I
also got a different impression that what I'm
getting here, which is that Anime Link is just
bringing some cels that they obtained and plan to
sell.
What's the difference between an exhibition and a
dealer's display? I always thought that an
exhibition implied (note IMPLICATION and not
DEFINITION) a collection, sometimes pieces of
which were for sale, but not always. But if they
were obtained only for the purpose of reselling
(and I'm not casting any judgment on the practice
of reselling, especially by a dealer, for those
who are quick to flame and slow to think), then
these cels are just merchandise, aren't they?

I hate feeling like I have to pad every sentence
with fire-retardant lining.
