Confrontation with Post Office and question... (Sat Jun 9 18:39:31 2001 )

I finally got all the paperwork from the seller
and went to the PO to file a claim for the bent
Aya cel. The lady was nice enough to make me
copies of all the stuff, but didn't even get a
description of damage or look at the item, just
kept the cel. I'm worried because to a layman,
the fact that it is bent might not seem like
anything. She also said I would not be getting
the cel back -_- So at the moment, I have no
cel, no money, and no assurence I will get one or
the other back. It's going to be a long 4-6
weeks.

Thing is, I remember someone saying when I posted
before that they recieved both the money and the
cel. I'm wondering what other people's
experiences have been in this case, becuase I
don't know if the post office person did it right
or anything... I know they have all the right
papers, but it is the damage evidence that
bothers me. I'm uber depressed right now, and
frankly afraid to buy more cels, because I really
don't want to go through this again.

(Who is wishing she had offered the cel for sale
or trade, as now it is probably gone from
collector's hands forever)
