Okay, I am new to anime and have sat down and 
completely watched 2 series - Gundam Wing and 
Magic Knights Rayearth. I also watched the OVA's 
for them.

Although Gundam Wing's OVA seemed continuous, if 
a little hard to believe, MKR was completely 
incomprehensible.

Are OVA's only loosely based on the actual 
series?  Is the series only loosely based on the 
shows? Am I losing my mind and just not able to 
follow what is going on?  I mean, in MKR, I 
thought Zagoto was killed by the knights as was 
Emeraude. The knights don't seem to remember 
saving Cefiro, and no one, not even Clef, 
remembers the knight.

I think I'm missing something here ~ other than 
my marbles =)

Any help would be appreciated!
