Possibly "Maple Town Monogatari"?  There was also 
a second season where the characters went 
somewhere else, but I don't think that was dubbed. 
 Her name was Patty Rabbit ^_^.  

I swear there was some sort of anime-ish fairy 
show on Nickelodeon, maybe in the early nineties? 
 Pretty sure it wasn't David the Gnome, because I 
can remember that pretty vividly.  But at one 
point they rode a deer...
