The Angelfire banners are obnoxious and although 
the Geocities banner gets in the way here and 
there, that at least can be *closed*. (Better, it 
can be closed without crashing the viewer's 
browser.)

Regarding loading time. . . The Geocities site 
actually loaded faster for me. The Angelfire site 
just sat and choked on downloading that banner 
before it put up anything else.

Just the two cents from someone who hates *all* 
banners and other forms of forced advertising. ~_~
