Yes, the sites for the ring are stored in the
same database as the one used for the index
(and for keep-track).

You can't anymore set the description for
sites in the ring : I am reserving this field
to put descriptions myself.

But sites are fully indexed. If you select
"Search the web", pages will be returned based
on their contents. (Like Altavista except that
it's limited to cels related website. I am
not trying to index the whole internet. Only
the sites already in the index).
