While I'd collected Western animation cels on 
and off for years, my first anime cel somehow 
meant more, and thereby dragged me into the 
familiar cycle of discovery, excitement, pride, 
debt, panic, and discovery that is our glorious 
hobby.  *grin*

Here's the little beauty that started it all, a
