PARTS of it are obviously CG.... but my roommate 
(who is an animation student) agrees with me... 
the CHARACTERS look like they were done with 
cels... although a lot of the concert scenes are 
obviously CG.  I think there are some cels in 
it... but did you get your info from a reliable 
source???
