We think the Bootsector server no longer connects
to the chat room... Other servers to try are 
irc.eskimo.com and irc.aohell.org - there are 
several others, but I don't remember them... 
Occasionally there will be netsplits and server 
trouble, but usually they're stable.. Just keep 
trying ....
