Something just happened to me, and I'm not real 
sure if I'm angry, or just upset. To make a long 
story short, I was contacted by a collector about 
a cel I had made an offer on months ago. They 
were in a bind, needed $$$ and were ready to 
sell. We agreed on a price, and I was ready to 
send out the money. Then I hear back tonight that 
someone else had offered more. 

And the truth is, I can afford it, but honestly 
don't think it's worth that much. It's weird, but 
I think I'd actually enjoy it less and felt a bit 
naive. I mean, for the price they were asking, I 
could get a great *opening* cel from Taro (most 
of you can imagine how much $ we're talking about 
then). So I guess what I'm asking is, when is the 
deal closed? I've never had anyone back out on a 
transaction before. Anyone else have this happen 
to them? 

I can think of at least a dozen arguments for the 
seller...I know I'm just a little bitter at the 
moment. Just needed to vent I guess.
