Okay, have a rather strange situation here...
A long while back, I made a deal with a seller
to buy a cel through payments... well, the sale
fell through and the cel was sold to someone else
(which I don't even really care about)... so there
is "no sale" essentially...
Now, I'd paid about $100 in payments on this
cel... and I haven't received a refund of that.
I contacted the seller about the matter of a
refund about 3 or so months ago. The seller then
told me that a refund had already been made
(which was not true, I never received a refund).
When I argued this, the seller said he/she (trying
to keep names/gender out of this here in respect
of the seller) would look into it. I never
heard back.
Since then I've emailed several times - and I
haven't heard back from this person in over 2
months. The seller still owes me the $100 (and
some change) I'd put down, but he/she won't
reply to my emails (last one was sent about 2
weeks ago).
I know this seller has a good reputation amongst
collectors, and I'm really surprised by the way
this is all going... at this point I really
don't know what to do. Should I go ahead and
file fraud? What else can I try?
