What I hate about X-mas is that you Christians feel 
this obligation
to give gifts.  Any gifts and I have seen some 
pretty kitchy junk
that people are buying just so that they have 
something to give. 
Well, you know what, maybe 90% of those kitchy 
gifts you give
end up in a closet somewhere, a complete waste of 
cel money.
My opinion on this is that if you can't find a 
meaningful or useful
gift, just buy the person a box of chocolates or a
bookstore gift certificate.
You will cry less later when you see that "wish 
cel".
Oh and one more thing, when you marry, make sure 
that your fiance'
has a small family; less money to spend on more 
useless gifts.
