As in the previous threads regarding thumbnails, don't forget to actually compress when you save to JPEG (or GIF). A small thumbnail uncompressed can still come out to 20-30k, a perfect waste of the concept of "thumbnails." ^_-  For all that juicy information, do a SEARCH at the bottom of the forum page for 'thumbnails' - you should get a ton of posts related to this topic as well as some freeware software.
