I recently bought a 3-layered cel, and one of the 
layers had that label. (A [symbol] e) It was the 
only cel in that sequence, so I thought it meant 
something like 1.  Oh well.  (On top of this cel 
was the shadow overlay layer which itself doesn't 
have a layer, but it had an A1e tag taped on top 
of it.)
