The quality of hanken cels is many times higher 
than conventional cels. Although it's hard to 
tell from a scan, the detail can be amazing. 

No line fading (no xeroxes), well balanced 
images, picture perfect characters. When seen in 
person, it's like the difference between crayons 
and an oil painting. 

I'd generally take a hanken cel for several times 
the price of high quality production cels from 
the same series in a heartbeat. Paying 5x or more 
for a hanken is not out of the question either.
