I would just mix and match the parts you liked
most.  When I did Amelia I based it mostly
on the TV outfit, but made the amulets have 6
sided stars like in the manga - because all the
other magic stars in the series are 6 sided
so saw no reason to have it 5 sided as did not fit 
with the rest of the Slayers design.
