Assuming Thomas is in the US (or is going to pay
in USD), If Celga's policy is $10US commission
per 10,000yen of purchase price, then the
commission charge would work out to be about
$300US. Add another $20-$30US in shipping/bank
transfer fees and the grand total cost for
aquisition would only be about $330US, which
isn't too bad, considering.
With the USD so strong against the yen at the
moement, it might be worth it for an interested
collector to go get it. Working rate is (I think)
somewhere around 113yen to the USD at least (the
Converter gives me a rate of 116.3yen to the USD)
so 300,000yen is about $2,650USD.
Still more than *I'd* pay for a cel even if I had
the money to burn. ^_^;;;; But it is a gorgeous
cel!! ^_^
