Definitely, with out a doubt, it would be
Escaflowne.  Why?  Because my absolute 
most favorite character is from Escaflowne...
Dilandau Albatou.
I've seen LOTS of anime, but I've never obsessed over 
one character more than Dilandau.  Actually, I got
into this cel hobby because of him...my first two cels
were him.
Not only that...but escaflowne is an EXCELLENT anime.
I've watched it over and over...and I still love it!
