Nah, I wouldn't say age is necessarily the prime requisite 
either, but in most of the marketed anime (shoujo-esque, 
anyway), I'm not really fond of the typically spineless boy
surrounded by a dozen chicks, or the hot-headed ones who
lose their tempers all the time. ^_^ Probably why I really 
like all the men in Rurouni Kenshin (and Yahiko isn't as
annoying of a kid as many fans would think). Very cool and
extremely intelligent. @_@x
