Sailor Moon cel prices took a leap when aired in the US
and Europe, Dragon Ball Z did too although not to the 
extent that SM did, and nice/decent Gundam W cels are going
for quite a bit. 

CCS cels are quite plentiful so the prices might not take
a major increase.  Still, most people think that owning
animation art is far beyond their budget(well, just look at
Disney stuff) so when they see that a fairly nice cel of
some cool animation they're seeing on TV isn't going for
thousands of dollars, it attracts a bunch of new folks to
the hobby who thought they never could be part of it.

Nice cels of CCS can be purchased for $40 or so. Getting
something just as nice from a Disney work could run 10x
that much.
