No, that's from one of the last episodes where that kid 
(I wanna say his name is Kenji) shows up in Lain's room 
and talks to her for a while, then asks her on a date (!)
and gives her a kiss. I forget the episode number but I don't
have my tapes cause they are and have been at a friend's 
house for a month or so....the fate of many of a fansub
of mine..."borrowed" for too long...
