The Escaflowne movie was animated using a combination of traditional cel 
animation and computer graphics, just as with the series. That's either 
good news or bad news for some of us, I suppose. ;) 

Naturally, not all of the movie characters appear in the official digest 
trailer. Hitomi will be different than in the television series, but she 
will be more than just another neurotic teen, as the movie reveals .... 
Although Sora does serves Folken, their personal relationship is not quite 
so simple.
