I don't know about a greater appreciation for the technique that goes into it, but now I can't watch anime without seeing that, Oh, that was just a double-layered cel, and Ohh.. that's gonna be an A1 End cel! No, wait! Aw, he moved... ^_~

And I think if it weren't for places like eBay, my cel addiction wouldn't be quite as bad... eBay is truly the collector's downfall.
