Keep in mind that if selling cels was not a
lucrative occupation, the people doing it would
stop doing it. Whatever their personal reasons,
in general they are not doing it to "be nice" and
they are not doing it "offer cels outside of
japan". They are doing it for personal gain
(usually money) and if they weren't making good
money, they wouldn't do it.
I am not saying that they are not good, honest
people. I am not saying that I am not thankful
that they do it. But there is no reason to kiss
ass because they are doing it. Yes prices may
have sky-rocketed in Japan. But obviously they
are still low enough that they are reasonably
sure that they can stilll turn a nice profit or
they would not have bought these higher priced
cels.
By the way, there are several dealers for whom
this is not the case, but that is the exception,
not the rule.
