If a cel is gone within 3 minutes at 2 in the
morning US time, chances are not many people got
a chance to look at it. It's a shame, because the
cels that went that quick were such nice cels and
I think that people should have a chance to look-
but-not-touch, like in a museum. I left the Taro
tag on the picture. If anything, it's a good
advertisement for Taro -- it proves that they
have access to the good stuff and they are
definitely a shop to watch.
In fact, the original motive behind this post is
to criticize this sentiment among us cel people
that we "need" to take as much stuff as quickly
as possible before the next guy shows up. This
isn't finger pointing -- I realized that I'm the
same way, which is sort of depressing. I figured
that the best thing I could do was at least show
people who have never bought a cel over $100
something which they don't usually have a chance
to see, much less purchase.
However, I will leave that as agreeing to
disagree and will respect the wishes of the Taro
staff. Sorry 'bout that. |
