Here is a pencil sketch of one of the cels I just 
got at Otakon - Utonberino from ep.55 of Sailor 
Moon (thanks Harry & that fabulous youma book!)  
And it just fascinates me.  Besides being an A1, 
it is unlike any other pencil sketch I own.  It 
is regular pencil, but the darker lines are pen.  
I know that it is really hard to see in the scan, 
but it is amazing!  

A full scan is in the URL above..., I had to scan 
it twice to get it all, hence the colour 
difference in the left side.

Is this usual?  In almost 400 Sailor Moon cels, I 
have never come across another like it; nor have 
I with another series (one that mixes pencil & 
pen).  I also don't care if it is fake - but who 
would want to make a fake pencil of a MOTD?  LOL

Does the Japanese on the top & bottom mean 
anything other than painting instuctions?  I'm 
just curious.
