The Eva cel isn't the only cel/drawing he's
trying to sell as separate pieces to make the
extra buck...
And I think this conversation has been brought up
before, too, when Taro started uploading lot of
Sailor Moon douga (although Taro did not separate
the pieces, and acquired the douga at a later
time - they weren't trying to make the extra money
from separating the SET).
I like Curt as a person, and he's a nice dealer to
work with. But I am very confused/dismayed/
repulsed by the decision to offer the separation
of 2 pieces of animation history that are
together and belong together... I would feel the
same regarding the decision to do so by ANY
dealer.
I don't even have the slightest interest in
collecting Eva or Nadesico - but if I did, and I
wanted to buy either piece and was told that I
could have one part of the set but that the other
had been sold because the dealer wanted to make
some extra cash there, well... I think I would
come up with the term "greedy" instead of
"professional" in that case...
Would you want a car without some sort of a
manual? A computer? A house without a blueprint?
Just my cent and a half (after all, why throw
in both cents? maybe I can sell the other half
separately...) |
