Since this looks like a "legitimate" thread, even though
it's OT ^_- I'll add ~
I've had mixed success in having fansubs removed from EBay
(I don't care if you call me a busybody, I can't stand it
when other so-called fans try ruining things for the rest
of us). Most notably, I've had the most success in getting
Rurouni Kenshin Realvideo/MPEG cd's removed, just because
it's damned obvious. -_- Other times I tried, they said
they couldn't do anything blah blah blah, yet a couple 
other times apparently the auctions WERE removed from their
database. Confusing. Nevertheless, I would never expect 
EBay to successfully deal with the majority of illegal 
material, especially in Anime, since it's a niche market
as it is. 

What about counterfeit cels on EBay (or other auction)?
Has anyone ever come up with one of those? Most of the
repro/seri/chroma cels I've seen advertised on EBay 
were advertised as such, hence no fraudulent advertising 
at least. From what I understand, it's easier to sell 
fraudulent douga/genga just from having a good photocopier.
