I had somewhat recently won a cel off of e-bay. I had asked
the person if she happened to have a cel of the same series
or of one other. She said she did, emailed me some scans, and
just when I received that email, a cel dealer posted one of the
same cels on her site (and another one was posted later). I
asked the person from whom I won the auction about why the cels looked
the same (heck, the file name was the same). I received no
answer, but money had already been sent for the auctioned cel.
I have been told the cel is on the way, so I'm not using names
unless I do not receive the cel. But as a general warning, if
a cel on e-bay looks familiar to one you've seen on another cel
dealer's site, be wary. |
