Well personally I like having thumbnails. Why because when the page loads up with thumbnails it is much faster and you get to see the cels you want to see right away. I personally hate it when people put large images onto one page...like their whole collection which takes hours to load. And by thumbnails I mean 2 seperate files. Not one big pic that is resized into a thumbnail shape...most of you know what I'm talking about... >_< IE 1 pic file named cel.jpg, 180KB big, is resized from the original size to a thumbnail size using picture properties in frontpage or something similar. The page loads up cel.jpg thumbnail size, and you wait because the thumbnail is 180kb big. Now picture it with many pictures done in this fashion. which means long LONG download time ^_^;;; and unhappy Satoshi. Now if you have thumbnails(2 files, 1 big picture and one small one), yes it would mean more work for you but, it also means faster loading, my thumbnails are around 3kb-10kb, well around there. Which takes way WAY less time to load up than the method above. Well that's my 2 cents, but hey it's your new website ^_^ do whatever you want. -Satoshi |
