it's not just you. The animation is very unique in each series.... of couse some times it gets confusing in some OVA and Tenchi Universe cels because the outfits are quite similer in some of them.... okay so it isn't all that easy if you're not a drooling Tenchi fan like myself :), but I can tell you this much ... I've only seen the first Shin Tenchi DVD and I still can tell that all the cels from that series are from that series ;) the amimation is that much different than any of the other Tenchi series or Movies for that matter. Always look at the eyes... they are VERY different. Charlie
