Is this a genga? (and if so could it be Yuki's? *fingers crossed*) (Thu May 18 08:54:07 2000

Hoihoi.. with the past posts mentioning Nobuteru Yuki's art, I started thinking "uhm, my Lodoss OVA 'douga' doesn't have a production number at the top, why not?" It was framed with the peg holes showing and the bottom cut off.. So silly me, I have just un-framed the thing and lo and behold.. there's a production number at the bottom.. By Brian's cel info pages, this makes it a genga, right? Or am I just experiencing some really wishful thinking. It looks like a normal douga to me, tho a tad bit sketchy ^^; And on to the 2nd part.. the number (and letter?)at the bottom is circled, so that makes it key.. Could this possibly have been done by Nobuteru Yuki's hand, or is this far too much wishful thinking on my part? I compared the notes scribbled on the drawing to notes seen on Yuki's true gengas shown in the OVA artbooks, but I really can't tell, It does look quite similar though.. So what do you gues think? Yann, Brian, Hikori, and the rest of you out there with amazing Lodoss/Yuki collections.. can you help to shed some light on my mystery? ^^ Thanks! -Jocey PS: The drawing comes from the scene in Ep. 4 where the gang is passing through the Forest of no Return, right after Slayn explains how 'time passes more slowly' there (Maybe that helps to ID the key artist on the scene ^^;) |
