Short story with a point at the end: I'm not a big fan of reproductions, but I picked up the Nausicaa machine made ones because they weren't too expensive. A friend wanted to see them, so I scanned them. Then he suggested I mention it to the forum, since some had been advertised as real cels and it would be hard tell them apart by the scan (they had also been sold for what they were, but my friend didn't remember that). I also noticed that the Samurai Troopers machine made repros were selling on eBay without a clear description. I had the book they came from so I scanned those too. Then I got to writing a long front page about why I was putting them up and what other ones I knew about. So, the section of my gallery is a little bit bigger than I had planned. Anyway, if anyone is interested in seeing the scans, please visit. Also, I'm all ready for any constructive critism (or image and information donations so I can better help inform people of what's out there. After all, some one has to have a page I can link to of all the Evangelion repros... ^_^ Feel free to email me. Keys Happy CAS Secretary's B-Day... er.. um... Happy Thanksgiving too! Just for the occasion, I threw up a small update to my wish list (Ooooo, screencaps...) and my cels for sale page as a bonus to my repro gallery. |
