My thought is that the first cel is from the OVA series, while this other is from Magical Project S the tv version.  I have never watched the regular Tenchi series or OVA, but I know that the scenario described in the previous e-mail did not take place in Magical Project S.  I'm pretty sure that this 2nd cel is Ryo-oki as a human boy from Magical Project S because of 2 things - 1) the gold circlet over his left arm is distinctive from that character design.  2) The pose he is performing is Sasami's "hero pose" from that series (I believe that in the scene this is from he is trying to inspire her ^_^).

As I said, I haven't watched the regular series, but I have seen cels of a "cabbit-human" boy identified as "Kenooki".  Could your first cel be of him?
