I can confirm that Wonderfest still exists, at least twice a
year - I'm not sure, but it may occur more these days. I have
not had the opportunity to go myself, but I have a friend who
lives in Japan and he goes.  What's sad is that he doesn't
much care for anime and just goes to buy cels to sell, not
to add to a collection of his own.  I try to get him to hunt
for stuff for me, but his lack of knowledge, concerning anime,
really gets in the way (despite all the scans I send him).  
Oh, well - I guess I'll just have to get there myself one of
these days.
